In History Class

In history we were learning about the French revolution and what they had to deal with and defend from the up risings in France. How every start to corrupt and turn against the other. How the peasants stormed a old prison thinking that there were guns there that they could use in the war, how peasants used a guillotine to kill the nobles and the generals. we took notes too on the French Revolution. It was kind of interesting. Louis XIV left France deeply in debt. He had engaged in deficit spending. He had a lavish lifestyle, which was incredibly costly. I was thinking that this
king was selfish because he kept spending money that wasn't even there, and he didn't care about his people.

Poe Reader Response

Never, has there been an author or poet, like Edgar Allen Poe. His stories and poems focus around a constant in his life, which is death. The experiences he's had in life, with loves ones dying. like the story bellow.

The Tell-Tale Heart" is about a man who kills an old man because he was tired of being looked at by the "Evil Eye" that the old man had. This story begins by the man telling the story of how he had killed the old man. He tells you that he was thinking to much and that he was not actually a crazy person. He also says that he was not a mad man but he was nervous. The man then describes how he had planned to kill the old man so precisely. He would get into the old man's chamber every night and show a little light into the evil eye. It would take the man a while for him to poke his head in and even longer to be fully in. One night the old man had heard a sound and woke up. His heart began to beat faster and faster. The guy jumped on the old man fearing that the neighbors would hear the old man's heart beat. He had killed the old man and placed him under the planks in the bedroom leaving no blood stains behind. When the police had come to investigate, he invited them in. He started hearing a noise and became paranoid so he told the police everything. In conclusion his madness ends up getting the best of him and he ends up confessing. (what a man)

What we learned was about a lil of trigonometry, all you have to really do is remember a simple acronym-SOHCAHTOA.

It stands for: Sine=Opposite/Hypotenuse,

Cosine=Adjacent/Hypotenuse,

and Tangent=Opposite/Adjacent.

it wasn't that bad to remember it.!
